The Stereolith® system has been developed on the fondamentals of the human physiology of hearing, a totally new approach to the high-fidelity technology.

Instead of being just another stereophonic speaker, the Stereolith® is a unique concept that provides much more than the usual right-left imagery of the stereophony; it re-creates the true emotion of volume, that is of depth and height of sounds.

This happens because, with the Stereolith® concept, our ears have access to the whole range of information contained in a recording and can therefore process it as if it was a live sound event. With conventional stereophony, which doesn't take into account the human physiology, the access to information is limited and so, too, the brain's capacity to re-create fully that sound event as it occured during the recording.

In the sound reproduction, it is like a holographic image in the visual arts, compared to a two-dimensional picture. Because of this revolutionnary idea, the speakers are contained in one single box, that can be positioned anywhere in the room, without reducing its extraordinary sound contrasts. The listener can enjoy a true rendition of all the subtilities contained in the musical message from practically any point in front of the speaker-box.

Such is the estonishing and convincing result of this product, which is applicable as well to the car audio industry and to the multi-media computer technology, that it received the Geneva's "Grand Prix du Salon des Innovations 1986" and the "Diapason d'Or 1989".
