The Stereolith® SRG-100 digital stereo amplifier is the first digital amplifier fully developed and assembled in Switzerland.

The Stereolith® concept has opened a new approach to the sound reproduction technique, marking new milestones in sound reproduction perfection. All amplifiers currently available on the market have been developed using the traditional pair of loudspeakers or the 5.1 system (home theater) and have their intrinsic limitations. Therefore, they do not allow the Stereolith® loudspeaker cabinet to express its full potential.

This is why we developed the SRG-100 digital amplifier, the result of more than ten years of electro-acoustic research based on the Stereolith® principle. It can reproduce all stereo information contained on discs, giving full access to the Stereolith® experience. Its considerable sound transparency gives it remarkable fidelity in terms of the instruments and musical emotion. Of course, it works perfectly well with a pair of traditional loudspeakers.

Technology
The term “digital amplifier” should in fact be replaced by "cut-off amplifier". SRG-100 uses a completely new technology: class T, the next generation of class D. A processor converts the audio signal into a time equivalent, thanks to a variable high-frequency cut-off. This way the signal assumes a square form, with the width varying according to the music. In this form, the usual causes of disturbances (noise and distortion) become inexistent. After amplification, the signal regains its original form thanks to a simple passive low pass filter directly connected to the loudspeaker outputs.

Applications
Very high fidelity stereo reproduction with any type of high-end loudspeaker cabinet.
In association with the Stereolith® loudspeaker, the SRG-100 amplifier makes it possible to listen to music or watch movies with a sound quality and dimension that cannot be matched by any traditional system (even surround), regardless of their quality and price level. It renders multi-channel systems obsolete and cumbersome.
